Food Cycle started in 2009 and is a national charity that supports people who are hungry and lonely. Every day they serve meals in towns and cities across the country. Over the years they have grown using surplus food donated by local businesses and the community to serve over 1000 meals a week cooked in spare kitchens. There are now 36 projects running across the UK.

On Valentine Night our very own Kirsty Gowans volunteered with Durham Food Cycle to feed the homeless and needy in the City along with Sharon Muldoon Dawson.
