The 10th of December 2011 marked a new milestone for Drilcorp Nigeria with the arrival of our latest shipment of drilling rigs from the UK at our base in Enugu.

This brings our capacity in Nigeria to four rigs – two cable percussion rigs and two rotary rigs.

Work has now commenced successfully on the drilling of water supply boreholes in the region.

Below: The first borehole was drilled in the depot where water was not expected to be present however it was a pleasant surprise to find a trickle flow capable of yielding up to 7000ltr per 24hrs
