CITB Accreditation for Drilcrop Training Scheme

Drilcorp realise the importance of having a highly skilled workforce across all disciplines of their business and are constantly evaluating and developing new training for their already highly-trained workforce.

By implementing these training elements into their core business, Drilcorp maintain their market lead in the drilling sector and enable them to carry out highly technical drilling projects that satisfy both the rigorous demands of the clients and project constraints, delivering projects on time and within budget.

Ian Turnbull, HSEQ manager at Drilcorp added "Our Company puts great store on having a highly skilled workforce and we are committed to ensuring that all of our drillers complete the NVQ level 2 in land drilling to ensure competence across the workforce.

Our policy on continuous improvement is reflected in our ongoing training development and to this end we have been running an in-depth training programme for a number of years to complement the NVQ process.

We have worked closely with the CITB - Construction Skills to further develop this internal training programme and are delighted to report that the scheme has now been formally recognized and awarded accreditation status by the CITB-Construction Skills National Specialist Team.

This is another step to ensuring that our workforce has the skill base to drive our business forward and ensure that Drilcorp remains at the forefront of the industry as a market leader in its field."
