In line with one of the company’s key business objectives for the 2010 two of the management team have now completed their SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) course.
This course is one of the most highly regarded training courses within the construction industry and is designed to equip site managers with the tools to enable them develop a better understanding of the legal, moral and social responsibilities and to manage health and safety on site in a proactive way in accordance with current legal provisions.
By the end of 2010 Drilcorp intends to put its entire site management team through this course to ensure a high level of competency across the business.
And finally congratulations to Matt Dale (Contracts Manager) and Steve Kirkland (Project Manager) who both achieved 100% in their SMSTS course.
